Other great Michele Bachmann quotes:
“If we took away the minimum wage — if conceivably it was gone — we could potentially virtually wipe out unemployment completely because we would be able to offer jobs at whatever level.”
“And what a bizarre time we’re in, when a judge will say to little children that you can’t say the pledge of allegiance, but you must learn that homosexuality is normal and you should try it.”
“I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out under another, then under another Democrat president, Jimmy Carter. I’m not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it’s an interesting coincidence.”

For crying out loud. Are we really taking that position? Seems like an evolving policy on the right. Remember Rep. John Shimkus who in his bid to chair the house energy committee, asserted, with bible in hand, that there’s not need to worry about global warming because “God promised Noah…”. These are our leaders folks, we are sooo Fucked!
If someone saved our planet 2000 years ago, then why are we still fucked?
Even on a technical level, Jesus saved the people of earth from our sins. He is not credited with saving the planet from human-inflicted physical destruction. Also, 2,000 years ago, the planet was in WAY better shape than it is now.
Dr. Who saved the world 2,000 years ago?
Oh wait. I don’t think fictional characters can save the planet. Sorry.
