A transgendered woman gets beaten senseless in a McDonald’s just because she was trying to use the bathroom in Baltimore. Right in the middle of the restaurant, in front of everybody. No one would help her, and the employees encouraged the ones who were beating her. The woman had a seizure. I’ve never seen something so terrible in my whole life. If you care at all, join the petition. It’s completely safe. Do not watch this video if you’re having a good day. Remember: We’re all humans. Love is love. OKAY, this upsets me. The woman came out and spoke a few days ago, and said that she was in fact beaten because the other woman thought she was “hitting on her boyfriend”. I hate that people are trying to politicize this. What if this woman wasn’t “out” to everybody in her town yet? Well she sure is now…all because people chose to blow this out of proportion and turn her into a poster child for a hate crime that was never committed against her. It’s fucking unfair that she now has to suffer though this drama because a few people thought it would make a good campaign against transphobia before hearing the entire story first. Sure, their intentions are good, but was it really worth outing an innocent person and manipulating her story for the cause? I don’t think so.
